[Addis Standard] Responding to questions from members of the House of People's Representatives (HoPR) this morning, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed defended his administration's decision to hold Ethiopia's next general elections in May 2020. The Prime Minister appeared at the parliament which was convened to pass the motion presented to both Houses by President Sahle-Work Zewde outlining the government's direction for the 2019/2020 fiscal year.
