[spotlight] Access to appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) has been a key concern for healthcare workers since early in South Africa's COVID-19 epidemic. These concerns are becoming more acute as confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa this week shot up to over 100 000, with over 3 500 of these cases in healthcare workers.
